BIG SIZE LOONG LOONG

Materials

  • Chenille Fluffy Yarn
  • A little bit of 4 ply Milk Cotton Yarn in Black Color
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • 12 mm safety eyes
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissor
  • Needle
  • Fiberfill stuffing

Finished Size

  •  Approximately 12.2" / 31 cm tall

SMALL SIZE LOONG LOONG

HEAD

In pink yarn / blue yarn.

Rnd 1: Mr, sc 8. [8]
Rnd 2: Inc in all 8 st. [16]
Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc) x 8. [24]
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 3 st, inc) x 6. [30]
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 4 st, inc) x 6. [36]
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 5 st, inc) x 6. [42]
Rnd 7: (Sc in next 6 st, inc) x 6. [48]
Rnd 8: Sc in all 48 st. [48]
Rnd 9: (Sc in next 7 st, inc) x 6. [54]
Rnd 10-15: Sc in all 54 st. [54]

Attach safety eyes between Rnd 12 and 13, leaving 9 stitches (count 8 holes) between them.

Start stuffing the head with fiberfill stuffing as you continue.

Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill stuffing.

Sl st in next st and fasten off. Leave a long yarn tail. Thread the tail through a needle and weave the needle through the front loop of each of the 6 st. Pull the yarn tail to close the hole. Insert the needle through the middle of the hole and pull through the top.

Fasten off and weave the end in.

SNOUT

In pink yarn / blue yarn.

Ch 5.

Rnd 1: In the 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 st. 3 sc in next st. Sc in next 2 st. 2 sc in next st. [10]

Rnd 2: Inc in next st. Sc in next 2 st. Inc in next 3 st. Sc in next 2 st. Inc in next 2 st. [16]

Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc in next st). Sc in next 2 st. (Sc in next st, inc in next st) x 3. Sc in next 2 st. (Sc in next st, inc in next st) x 2. [22]

Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 st, inc in next st). Sc in next 2 st. (Sc in next 2 st, inc in next st) x 3. Sc in next 2 st. (Sc in next 2 st, inc in next st) x 2. [28]

Rnd 5-6: Sc in all 26 st. [28]

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Stuff the snout firmly with fiberfill stuffing.

Sew the snout onto the head between Rnd 13-18. Refer to image 1.


NOSTRIL x 2

In pink yarn / blue yarn.

Ch 5.

R1: In the 2nd ch from hook, sc in next st. (hdc, dc) in next st. (dc, hdc) in next st. sc in next st. [6]

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Sew the nostril onto the snout between Rnd 4-5. Refer to image 2.


CHEEK x 2

In yellow yarn or red yarn.

Rnd 1: Mr, sc 7. [7]

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Sew the cheek onto the head between Rnd 14-16. Refer to image 3.

EYEBROWS

Using black yarn, embroider eyebrows above the eyes on Rnd 9, 10 st apart. Refer to image 4.

BIG HORN

In light blue yarn / orange yarn.

Rnd 1: Mr, sc 6. [6]
Rnd 2: Sc in all 6 st. [6]
Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc) x 3. [9]
Rnd 4: Sc in all 12 st. [9]
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 2 st, inc) x 3. [12]
Rnd 6: Sc in all 12 st. [12]
Rnd 7: (Sc in next 3 st, inc) x 3. [15]
Rnd 8: Sc in all 15 st. [15]

Sew the big horn onto the center of the head.

EAR x 2


In pink yarn / blue yarn.

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing. Do not stuff.

Sew the ears onto the head between Rnd 10-12. Refer to image 6.

Using light blue yarn / orange yarn, weave yarn into every 2nd row of the stomach to sew the stripes. Refer to image 7.

Rnd 1: Mr, sc 6. [6]
Rnd 2: Inc in all 6 st. [12]
Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc) x 6. [18]
Rnd 4-7: Sc in all 18 st. [18]

Stuff the bottom of the hand firmly with fiberfill stuffing.

Rnd 8: (Sc in next st, dec) x 6. [12]
Rnd 9-13: Sc in all 12 st. [12]

Stuff the top of the hand gently with fiberfill stuffing.

Rnd 14: Flatten and sc both sides together. [6]

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.

Sew the hands to the body between Rnd 25-26.

LEG x 2

In pink yarn / blue yarn.

Rnd 1: Mr, sc 7. [7]
Rnd 2: Inc in all 7 st. [14]
Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc) x 7. [21]
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 st, inc) x 7. [28]

Stuff the bottom of the leg firmly with fiberfill stuffing.

Stuff the top of the leg gently with fiberfill stuffing.

Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.
 
Do not stuff.
 
Arrange and sew the spikes to the top center of the tail. Refer to image 10.
