Halloo-Ooh! It's Halloween already. It's that spooky fun time of the year again and everyone is busy decorating their homes and spaces with fun Halloween decor for 'trick-o-treat-in'.
Here's an easy to crochet Elvis The Ghost pattern for you to whip up something quick and spooky cute.
Materials
- Milk cotton yarn 4-ply: Color A - White | Color B - Black | Color C - Orange | Color D - Pink
- 2.5 mm crochet hook
- 7 mm round safety eyes
- Black embroidery thread
- Pink embroidery thread
- Toy stuffing (fiberfill)
- Stitch markers
- Yarn needle
- Scissor

HEAD & BODY
In white yarn (Color A).
Rnd 1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring. [6]
Rnd 2: Inc in all 6 st. [12]
Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, inc in next st ) x 6. [18]
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 st, inc in next st) x 6. [24]
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 3 st, inc in next st) x 6. [30]
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 4 st, inc in next st) x 6. [36]
Rnd 7: (Sc in next 5 st, inc in next st) x 6. [42]
Rnd 8: (Sc in next 6 st, inc in next st) x 6. [48]
Rnd 9-22: Sc in all 48 st. [48]
Attach safety eyes between rnd 14 and 15, leaving 8 st (7 holes) between them.
Start stuffing the head and body with fiberfill.
Rnd 23 bl: Sc in all 48 st. [48]
Rnd 24-25: Sc in all 48 st. [48]
Rnd 26 bl: (Sc in next 6 st, dec) x 6. [42]
Rnd 27: (Sc in next 5 st, dec) x 6. [36]
Rnd 28: (Sc in next 4 st, dec) x 6. [30]
Rnd 29: (Sc in next 3 st, dec) x 6. [24]
Rnd 30: (Sc in next 2 st, dec) x 6. [18]
Rnd 31: (Sc in next st, dec) x 6. [12]
Rnd 32: (Dec) x 6. [6]
Sl st in next st and fasten off. Leave a long yarn tail.
Thread the yarn tail through a needle and weave the needle through the front loop of each of the 6 st. Pull the yarn tail gently to close the hole. Insert the needle through the middle of the hole and pull through the head.
1st RUFFLE
Start with white yarn (Color A).
Join yarn to the front loop of rnd 23.
Rnd 1 fl: Ch 3 (count as 1 dc). 3 dc in the next st. **1 dc in next st, 3 dc in the next st. Repeat ** 13 times. [96]
Change to black yarn (Color B).
Rnd 2: Sc in all 48 st. [96]
Fasten off and weave in ends.
2nd RUFFLE
Start with white yarn (Color A).
Join yarn to the front loop of rnd 26.
Rnd 1 fl: ch 4 (count as 1 tr). 3 tr in the next st. **1 tr in next st, 3 tr in the next st. Repeat ** 13 times. [96]
Change to black yarn.
Rnd 2: Sc in all 48 st. [96]
Fasten off and weave in ends.
HAND x 2
Start with white yarn (Color A).
Rnd 1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring. [6]
Rnd 2: (Sc in next st, inc in next st ) x 3. [9]
Rnd 3-6: Sc in all 9 st. [9]
Rnd 7: Sc in the next 5 only. [9]
Stuff hand firmly.
Fasten off and leave a long yarn tail for sewing.
HAT
Start with black yarn (Color B).

ASSEMBLY
- Sew the hat to the top of the head.
- Sew the hands to the side of the body.
- Using embroidery thread, sew mouth to the face.
- Using pink yarn (Color D), embroider cheeks below the eyes.
